and it was the best day ever

I am exhausted, y’all. After all the stress about moving and not getting much sleep lately, my Director of Publishing, Sam, and I hit the road to Wizard World Chicago Friday afternoon. This was my very first convention EVER, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. this is me forever

I am not a wine connoisseur. At all. I like sweet white and blush wines, especially moscato. My best friend, Heather, sent me this: I mean, once it’s in the glass, it doesn’t matter what it is, right? (And yes, Barefoot is awesome, but I also love the sweet/dessert/fruit wines from Tempo Vino Winery here in town. They have a strawberry watermelon one for summer and it is to die for.)

past I was born November 8,1985, an only child, raised by my mother, grandparents, aunts, and uncle. I grew up poor, in a tiny, old house, and entertained myself with old TV shows, music, and, eventually, the internet.
